Where to buy liquor to bring back home

So I will be in Cancun May 21st-25th staying at the Oasis Sens with 7 other ladies. I wanted suggestions on where I can buy Henessy White and a certain tequila that was requested to bring back home (100 Anos?). I have been to Cancun twice in the past but have never went and bought liquor to bring back home so any suggestions on where I should go will be appreciated. Thanks!

The duty free at CUN has tons of choices for booze. Do check it out. You'll have plenty of time, if you get to the airport a couple of hours before your flight.

I am wanting to bring back some liquor this time. Things we can't get here.

How much, per person, can one bring into the US.

I did see one recent thread on this, but it was confusing.

Thanks!

We just got back Friday and my husband also loves 100 Anos. At the duty free shop at the airport last week, they had a special of buy 2 get one free. He ended up getting 3 bottles for $26!!

Check out WallMart. They have an extensive selection. And I compared prices for similar items with Duty Free (took pics of items on arrival). More interesting at WallMart

I just made the decision to bring a carry-on only since I am only there for 5 days 4 nights and good to know that the duty-free shops has 100 Anos. Thanks for the responses!

One more question, if I purchase liquor from the duty-free shops and have a short lay-over before I get home, am I allowed to just carry on the liquor and not having to check it in? I feel like I read somewhere that someone had this issue I just wanted to reclarify. Thanks.

@9: That's a common booby trap. You'll have to check the booze, or lose it.
