Anyone have a good room location on Crown Paradise?

Someone said on another post that if you call a week ahead of time, you can request your room. Anyone know if that is true & if so any recommendations. There 2 adults, 2 kids (10,14) - would love a nice view.

Try to get in the new tower if possible. (tower 2). Ask for something on the 3rd or 4th floor. If that's not possible, get at least on the 4th floor in the old tower (rooms that face the ocean. There is another part of the old tower that faces El Publito (resort next door that looks like a war zone) and also the teen club -- try to avoid those rooms if possible. If you are going through a travel agent, have them call to reserve a room for you. Otherwise you can email them at reserv(at sign)crownparadise.com. Have a wonderful trip!

The rooms in the new tower have always been the best, but that is currently not the case with families. I was there last week and the hotels policy in the new tower had changed. Families are now only allowed on the first two floors. The 3rd and 4rth are for timeshare, and the 5th,6th, & 7th are club rooms for adults only. The rooms with a good view would be right over the 50's restaurant, which is the only place where construction is still going on and it looks like they have a ways to go. The other rooms on the first two floors do not have ocean views, but instead overlook the buffet.

I was really impressed with the 3 rooms in the old tower that our group received. The rooms had been completely updated since last year, and were in as good of shape as the new tower. I was in 1733 on the top floor and had a great view. Rooms ending with 34-26 will be closest to the water and will not face the resort next door that candylady was talking about.. Definitely try not to get a room facing that resort, and be careful when walking by it with the kids. They were playing loud rap music that was full of four letter words which did not go unnoticed by my 7 year old son. All the ocean front rooms are timeshare.

we are members of Club Golden SHore at CPC. This will be our first time back as( TS people or members what ever we are called)

so will we be on the 3rd or 4th floor?

We have a suite held for us when we arrive we have gotten our reservation # confirmed from California. That is where we sent in our paper work to their head quarters.

Will we be on the new side or the old tower?

When they showed us the rooms back in MArch when we were there the the 1 and 2 bedroom suites the balaconys were to die for ! what a great view! but that was on the old side , there were still doing alot of constuction on the other tower.

I was also told that the TS units were scattered through out the hotel , is that true?

thanks for any info , hope this post didnt sound to confusing :)
