Looking for a dog friendly hotel on beach for next Christmas

Any suggestions for a beachfront that will take small dogs? Doesn't have to be fancy! Just a short trip over Christmas. THanks!

I suggest the Villa Blanca not too far south of town. It's across the street from the beach. Nice grounds and staff. Get a superior room as the standard ones are a bit small and run down. We loved the superior rooms. Emails to them are answered within 24 hrs.

Hotel Cozumel & Resort and El Presidente are a couple others that are beach front. Not sure on your budget but El Pres. is gonna cost ya.

-Yikes! I just booked a standard room there. It got fairly good reviews, and I just wanted a simple inexpensive no-frills room. hm...

Maybe they've given them a face lift. I just thought they were dark and small and old looking. You can always upgrade to a superior if they have one available. I liked having a full sized fridge. And ask for a room in the back...the live music from La Hach can make it noisy late into the night as does the street traffic and clanking of dive tanks in the early a.m. We've stayed there 4 or 5 times and like it alot.

I don't think all those places listed are dog friendly are they?

Margarita, I know the ones I listed were. I can assure you I have done extensive research on the matter because we have to take my wife's service dog with us. There are other places as well but they are not located on the beach.

I can tell you who absolutely under no circumstances does not allow them:

El Cozumeleno

Cozumel Palace

Aura

Old Wyndham

Sabor

Park Royal

Most major resorts DO NOT, disability service dog or not, doesn't matter.

If you want to play... the noise at La Hach is music to your ears. If you dive the clanking is also music to your ears. Hotel B and Playa Azul's websites say they are pet friendly.
