East side distance question

We were thinking of having a cab drop us off at Rastas and then we would walk to Coconuts along the shoreline while stopping at other little spots I think I remember seeing from the last time we were there. First off, is that possible to walk along the shore and second, how long of a distance is that between the two roughly? Once we get to Coconuts we were just going to grab a cab from there back to our resort. FYI, renting a car is out since we all want to have a good amount of cocktails throughout the day. Thanks in advance!

You can't just grab a cab on the east side. They don't hang around over there waiting for fares. You'll need to arrange for your taxi to wait for you while you play and drink or he might come back for you are a prearranged time...and he might not. No you can't walk along the shoreline from Rasta's to Coconuts...there are many places where it's unwalkable due to ironshore. Even if you could that'd be an all day walk if you stopped here and there. The Cozumel Bar Hop stops at both those places.
