Shark at Beach Club

According to several local reports, a tourist received a small wound from an encounter with a cat shark at Mr. Sanchos. Fortunately, he was not seriously injured but was taken to a local clinic for treatment and released after about 3 hours. One of only a few shark encounters I have heard of in this area.

This would appear to be a fluke rather than something to be concerned about considering just how many sea urchins are in the water waiting to be stepped on. However just to keep things in perspective these are worth reading through.

¨Feeding anything wild on a regular basis changes behavior.¨

Agree, Larry. Not a a good idea in the water or on land.

Again, thanks for the links!
