We just returned from our first trip to Isla and really enjoyed eating at the various places. Our favorite was El Veradero, a small, hard to find Cuban place right on the channel going into the Macax Lagoon.
Both the grouper with salsa and grilled garlic shrimp were excellent as were the side dishes. Our first experience with the fried plaintains (I think thats what they are called.)
The mojito's were tops as well. Being the only ones eating, the service was very good.
I hope the pictures made it as I am not very good at these type of things.
