Grand Palladium

A couple of questions for anyone who has been to the Grand Palladium (Katenah, Colonial, White Sands, or Riveria): Is there a requirement for men to wear long pants for dinner in the buffet restaurants? How about the specialty restaurants? Also, where is the better beach - katenah or colonial (which has less rocks, which is closer to food and drinks?)

Any thoughts are appreciated!

Thanks so much for the information. Good to know I don't have to wear long pants for all 7 nights. You will enjoy the Iberostars - we have been them several times - mostly in the Dominican Republic, however we've been to the Tucan/Quetzel in Playa Del Carmen and loved the place.
