age mix at secrets capri

I just read a review stating that ages at Secrets Capri were mostly 20's the reviewer being the oldest at late 30's. Has anyone experienced a larger mix of ages there. We are thinking of going in January. We just returned from ERC which we loved but thought too large. We want the size of Secrets and I have read it resembles ERC in ways.

Can anyone help?

Mostly in their 20's???? Well, I'm sure a LOT depends on when you're there, but when we were there, we saw quite a mix of ages......LATE 20's, 30's, 40's, and up......but very few in the early 20's. I guess because most "kids" in their early 20's can't really afford an AI. But just remember, it's MOSTLY going to be couples that you're going to see!

I agree......mostly in their 20's?? When we were there, we saw a LOT of couples in their late 30's and early 40's. Quite a few of them had kids and had left them home.

My fiance and I are going to secrets capri for 2 weeks in January for our honeymoon - I'm 31 and he's 37. See you there if you decide to book!

We were at secrets capri late january early february 2007 and the age range was 20's to 70's.We went as an adult family group and the oldest was 69.We all found somebody to socialise with and nobody felt ancient or too young. It was our best holiday yet. Will never forget it.So many memories.

Thanks everyone! I am going to watch prices for a while, but that is the place we want to try.

Katrin,

I neighbor! We've been to Secrets 5 times now, and returning for trip #6 this October! We are in our mid 40's and each time we've been there the age range has varied anywhere from the 20's to the 50's and 60's.I would gues the average age to be right around 30 depending on the time of year you go.

At any rate Secrets is great, really think you'll like it! Obviously we do!

Who do you usually book through for your best price? Have you found that the price fluctuates and you wait for it to go down?

Thanks

My wife and I are going for the third time in November. Nice mix of 20's through 60's. We have booked through Amex travel, USair travel and apple. Just keep watching to see who is cheapest. We usually book fairly early because there is only one early direct flight out of Philadelphia. We are willing to pay more to get a direct flight so that we can be at the resort before lunch on the first day, and not have to check out early on the last day.

Katrin,

We go through a friend who is a travel agent who books through Apple Vacations. Alway get the insurance. The prices do go up and down so if you book and the price does come down after you book your guaranteed the lower price and refunded the difference. This has happended to us on several of our trips. You'll find that Apple Vacations (and you can go on the Apple website and what you see is what the the Travel agent will quote you) is pretty much normal price and includes all transportation costs and everything. Nothing hidden and no other worries. Probably your best bet. Just our opinion.
