Anyone else use walkie talkies on your resort? Gov't allow?

On bigger resorts We always take along our walkie talkies,We find it's easy to communicate with each other if one is on the beach the other going to the room to get something and sure enough just when you get back[never fails]oh, I could have used this or that, saves an extra trip. With the current crack down in Mexico do they still allow this? What are the frequencies you would use? Thanks in advance

I've never used them, but I have seen many families with older kids bring them to communicate. I don't think it is prohibited by the Mexican government.
