Looking for restaurant officianado

Online menus are at times outdated and I resent finding that out after being handed the menu. Who is the forum restaurant officianado I can follow?

Oldtraveller3, whom we affectionately (or not - Steve:-) call OT3. He'll probably chime in but in case he is too humble I'm calling him out.

I believe that distinction belongs to dpreefer, not on this forum. Here's his link, along with extensive list of local restaurants:

Some folks that purport to be 'experts' are simply experts of cut/paste technology... I always like my information first hand ;)

Yes, lots of good info there! Some places have moved or closed/changed. Lots of good new places not on that list. Sometimes things change overnight with resetaurants.

I like this site...

http://www.playafood.com/restaurants/

It has links to the restaurants web page , if they have one.

Also their e-mail address is listed.

A relatively new site it does have price points given and a few reviews.

A very good reference site in my opinion.

That's a huge list Tie dye guy , I hadn't seen it previously , Thanks .

We have used Dpreefer's list many times as well , that Bellasogno linked , a great resource .

There are so many great choices and great values at all price points .

Menus can change often and even restaurant locations can change with rising rents . Sometimes the new place that opens up on your old favourite's corner can become a favourite too .

Ouch!!! I think it's time to retire.

Picture and post. Do you want the 100's of others? It's the same as cut and paste.

p.s. I love Deep Reefer, but Jim on the River is the best.

Dpreefer didn't even have Imprevist on his April 2013 list. Boo hoo. My favorite restaurant In PDC. He better try there. If he does, he'd be running to add it in!

"Online menus are at times outdated and I resent finding that out after being handed the menu."

Which constitutes a good argument from the management perspective for not putting menus online.

I don't know what I did with the lunch menu, but I only order the coconut shrimp.
