Resort Recommendation - PLEASE!!!

I am travelling at New Years with my children (29, 27, 26 + boyfriend, 24 + boyfriend) and my brother and his children (21,18) and want to go to the Riviera Maya. We need a resort with good food and night time activity i.e casino and disco. Our kids love to drink and dance (of course) so we are looking for a lively resort - 4 to 5 stars please. Does anyone have any suggestions - have been reading the reviews but they have left me confused - Iberostar Paraiso, Occidental Tulum, Barcelo.....I don't know!!!! Went to the Bahia Principe in July but wasn't crazy about the food in the buffets and the Sports Bar at the Hacienda was way too small and hot!!! PLEASE HELP!! Thank you so much!!

Grand Palladium Colonial and Kantenah Resorts & Spa or Riu Tequila could be worth checking out.

I don't think you will find a casino. ??? I've never seen one, anyway. I second the Palladium -- although you would be far away from town.

Having a resort in walking distance to Playa gives you even more possibilities for night life (check Top Questions)

and it can be an adult only

Yes, the royal should be great for your needs as it is in town with all those options. A large multi-resort complex offers many entertainment options. Pick the best Iberostar resort in the riviera maya you can afford, for example.

RPDC seems like it ticks all the boxes except casino. I don't think there are any in the RM area.

Being about the same age as your kids and having been there before, the Royal fits pretty closely. Everything is within walking distance to the resort if there isn't enough going on there. There is tons of nightlife and it's completely safe. You won't find a casino anywhere else but I think it checks the other boxes for what you are describing.

Take a look at Secrets Silversands. Very active resort for the younger crowd. Activities during the day and the evening. Very fun resort and close to airport (20 minutes).

I loved the Palladium Coloniel side. The food was amazing, the beach was beautiful and very good for snorkelling. Lots of pools , the main one is massive and there is a lovely salt water pool to.
