Should be able to get it at Wal Mart for cheap. Calle 4 and 30th ave.
I would expect it to cost a little more than in the states since they're importing it. You may want to try Sol. My husband is a Sol drinker and I'm a Bud Light drinker. He said they're very similar.
i'm with Mark on this one i'm afraid.
beer does not travel well, and is usually more expensive than at home,
those beers that are made under licence, say bud, coors or the like, will not taste the same as their water is different.
as water is the main ingredient to beer then it alters the taste greatly.
also due to the uk tax/duty laws any high strength beer is weakened to save a fortune in taxation.
Rather than Walmart, go to the nearby Mega for a good beer selection. Nice to support a Mexican company. I don´t drink American beer in Mexico so know nothing about the prices.
I too never drink US beer out of the US, so I can’t help much on the price or location.
But I do agree with others that Sol is the closest to a US light beer, and my favorite. Modelo Especial is very good and so is Pacifico. But there really are a number of good Mexican beers out there.
My rule is…..No Fruit in Beer. If you have to add fruit to a beer so it tastes good enough for you to drink it….try something else…..like water or something.....maybe beer is not for you haha. And yes before you ask, this includes Blue Moon.
The 1st food safety law, (and the only one worth mentioning) The Reinheitsgebot, doesn’t say anything about adding fruit to your bier.
We have so many great American beers thanks to all of the great craft breweries, at least if you are going to search for American beer, search for something good...:-)Edited: 20 August 2013, 17:52
I'm with MarkS, too -- but, why?!?
