not a local but it sunset is at 5:11pm. They just set the clocks back 1 hr on Oct 26th. You can tour Tulum in a few hours. Even though its on the ocean it still get pretty hot. So I would do Tulum in the morning and swim with the Turtles in the afternoon. I think you go both in one day, they are only a 1/2 hr (30 miles) apart.
