Thomson premium class

Hi there

We are traveling to cancun in 4 weeks time. We are flying from East Midlands with thomson and have upgraded to the premium class. It isn't the dream liner plane.

Has anyone used this before? If so what did you get from it?

Thank you.

You get exactly the same as you would if flying on the Dreamliner - the plane is the only difference.

Yeah we've been on the older planes from Newcastle in both economy and premium. Both classes are perfectly fine, in fact in economy the older planes are better suited to couples due to the 2-3-2 layout.

Now then, premium is great if you're tall for obvious reason. I'm 6'2" and the mrs is 6' so for us it's great. The only issue I found is that the plane seats are a bit past it. The cushioning is shot to bits and after 10 hours you'll have a sore bum!

Have a great holiday!

Thank you both for your replies!

We decided to go with the premium (as we think you get all inclusive drinks) hopefully that will

Take the edge off the sore bum situation haha!

Hi mogsy

Unfortunately nothing is free, the price of the holiday will just go up a tad to pay for the drinks

Yes Paul, that is always the case, unfortunately. No such thing as a free ride.

Thanks a lot for all your replies!

It's certainly quicker than waiting on a reply from thomson! We found out today we won't be flying on the dream liner but I'm hoping we will still be comfortable in the normal plane!
