New Year's Eve in the pueblo?

my friends and I are trying to figure out what to do for NYE. We're staying in the pueblo (Villas Gemini condos). I just did a forum search and most of the info i'm finding is older, and I know there have been a lot of new places springing up. we definitely want to start with a nice, sit-down dinner but not sure yet where (pueblo? on the beach?) Considering Hechizo, but one of our party is a vegetarian. is there a place of similar quality in town? with vegetarian options? after dinner we'll probably stay in the pueblo, unless there's some can't-miss event going on at the beach. we will have a car, but obviously, on NYE we may try to avoid driving altogether. we're not clubbers, so Mezzanine isn't super appealing - we'd rather do whatever the locals are doing for the holiday.

El Tabano usually has a really nice veg option. We had amazing veg tamales, but keep in mind the menu changes often.

Hechizo had at least one if not two vegetarian options everytime I have dined there. I would just email and ask. I met the owners and they are very responsive.

We've enjoyed both OM and Hechizo's food. OM would be my choice, if you want something closer and moderately priced. Hechizo would be the pick if you want a high end evening.
