Help needed

Dear all,

We will be travelling by road from Cape Town to either PE or George in October with only 4 nights & 5 full days; we do not intend to visit the Ostrich Farm and Cango Caves, perhaps this can save some considerable time. We would like to go through nice little towns, beautiful sceneries instead.

Can anyone give us some precious advice?

Thank you in advance,

Philippe

You can drive from Cape Town and go along the coast to Hermanus and then head down to Cape Agulhas(1night). From there you head back to the N2 highway and head on straight to the Garden Route, spend the rest of the days down there. Plenty of things to do and the try to use Knysna as your base for overnight. All the towns are close by and within easy driving distance. Afterwards you can then get to George Airport from Knysna within 1hr30mins on the day of your departure.

Itinerary suggestions please.

We are travelling to SA in January February next year. We fly into Cape Town and then head straight to Knysna where we will stay for three weeks. We have reserved accommodation in Cape Town for our last 3 nights but have 6 nights to wander around before arriving in Cape Town and would like to visit Montagu Hermanus and stellenbosch.. Would we have to book up now since it is the height of the tourist season and how long should we spend at each place? Can anyone suggest an itinerary for those 6 days which would be at a leisurely pace.
