Swimming pool?

My daughter is returning for more volunteer work the end of May and needs a place to stay for a few nights. Since it could be very hot, could someone recommend an economical hotel or B&B with a pool?

The only one that comes to mind immediately is the Quinto Loreto, but the pool is small and not very well sited. If budget is a real consideration, she'd be better advised to pick her accommodation and then pay to use a pool elsewhere when she needs it. Space is at such a premium in central San Miguel that I guess only the more expensive places have pools.

Posada de la Aldea has a nice pool. You can also pay a nominal fee to use the pool if you are not a guest of the hotel.

Real de Minas too. And they're always offering lodging specials so be sure to ask. Their pool is probably the biggest in town. Ann

And Hacienda de Las Flores too, which is right in centro. Smallish pool, but perfectly adequate. Casa Luna B&B on Quebrada also has a nice pool. Ann
