Cabo beaches for kids

Wow! I'm amazed at the great information on this forum!

I will be in Cabo for one day with my 5 and 7 year olds while my husband golfs and am looking for a beach. I need:

1)bathroom facilities

2)a place to get something to eat and drink

3) shade

4)swimming.

I want some place special and beautiful and I don't mind a 45 minute taxi/bus drive to get there.

I've done some homework and have come up with the following:

Chilean Beach

Santa Maria Beach

Rio Caracol Beach Club

Playa Cabo Real

Palmilla Beach

Any thoughts or suggestions? I would really appreciate it!

Thanks for the advice. I looked it up and Chileam Beach is "southwest of the Hotel Cabo San Lucas, look for the parking lot and dive flag sign at km 14.5. A bus stop is nearby to the northeast."

Is it worth taking the kids for a short trip to Playa del Amor or not?

And, do you know anything about the Rio Caracol Beach Club at Km. 18? Or Playa Bledito, in front of the Melia and the Hilton?

melia cabo real swimmable beach see previous posts by minnesota and canada people as someone was there late feb and did snorkeling- we did not swim there due to waves in mid feb. there is a sea wall to make beach area and at least two stories of stairs to go down to beach
