I had a trip booked with Sunquest for Riu Tequila May 8th.Sunquest our tour operator will not refund our money only give us a credit that we have to use before Oct 31/09. This is crazy!!! I have tried to reason with them but they will not budge! My husband and I still want to go to Mexico and would book a trip trhough Detroit towards the end of May to Playa but like most people we saved our money over the past few months and now it's tied up with Sunquest. We do not have additional funds to rebook an extra trip then use our credit another time which is why we want our money back. Another reason is that we are restricted with the times we can travel due to work or kids. (grandparents look after them but can only do so this month) so to sum it all up this really sucks! We will likely lose our money!!
Has anyone been successful in getting a refund with a Canadian Tour Operator that had travel booked in May then the tour operator cancelled?
This is a very frustrating! Please help!! Any suggestions??
