The Capt. is most everywhere, DP I don't know about. I'm a G&T girl.

But, my hubby says the captain tastes good with everything!

As much as I dislike Walmart, my husband insisted we go there as it was closest to our resort. They had a great selection of soda ~ all the basics plus my favorite Diet Dr. Pepper. Prices are higher for canned sodas than for the 2 liter bottles. I think there was probably Diet Pepsi on the shelf, but I wasn't looking for that specifically.

I believe that there is only Pepsi Light available in Mexico...

saccharine versus aspartame (spellcheck) - so I have read.

We actually bring our own Diet Pepsi down in our checked baggage. So if you are a diet Pepsi purist, you may have an issue.

I can't tell the difference but I know I order Captain and Pepsi Light at almost all of the places we go to.

That and the Bacardi Anjeo are about all I drink excecpt for wine.

You don't see "Diet" sodas in Mexico but you will see "Light". I just assumed they were the same as diet. Coca Cola Light is seen a lot more than Pepsi Light, IMHO. Pop in to the many Farmacias around town, they generally each have their own soda cooler.
