cabo with teenagers

Planning our first trip to Cabo, first week in June, parents with 2 14yo boys. Not sure whether to stay in CSL or San Jose. Need a 2bdrm condo on the beach and suggetions for fun stuff to do. We like a quieter, less crowded atmosphere, outdoor activities. Thanks!

Our trip to Cabo is just days away. Another traveller directed us to this website which proved to be a valuable resource for locating everything we needed. Enjoy your trip.

smwill,

I think Playa Grande would be good(in Cabo). The 2 bedroom units are big and spacious. On quiet beach yet close to everything. The boys could take a water taxi(5 min. walk to marina) over to Medano Beach when they get bored of Solmar Beach.

San Jose is to quiet for teenagers.Being on Solmar beach will give you the best of both worlds IMO. :-)

We have 2 teenage boys and they definitely prefer Cabo San Lucas. We stay at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach which is quieter but has lots of activities to participate in. However it is on the Pacific side, so you can't swim on the beach. We take the free shuttle over to PB Blanco and sit out there on the beach, where you get a 10% discount on all food & drink and they charge it to your room at SB. That way we get the best of both worlds, quieter/more private when we want it and noisier more fun crowd when we want it!

Our teens loved Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach...completely safe environment on 50 acres and 4 pool complexes with activities geared to different ages. When they wanted more adventure it was easy for them to hop on the free shuttle to PB Rose' that runs til 10pm to access Medano Beach and downtown. Rose' and Blanco, both Pueblo Bonito sister resorts, also have lots of activities (complimentary mostly)throughout the day. The concierge's at all three hotels can help you learn what activities are going on at the other resorts and you can pick up the activities calendar for the week at those resorts.

I'd bet all teen boys would love one of the atv tours!
