We will be heading to Cabo this summer, does anyone know when the best time to by airfare will be from California? I'm not sure if the prices will go down

Currently Airtran has the best nonstop price to Cabo at $434 round trip from Orange Co. Customs is kinda crazy out of LAX so I welcome the change at John Wayne. I don't see Airfare getting any better in price than that.

Fuel costs going up. Fears of Iran buiding nuclear facilities causing unrest in the middle east isnt going to lower costs. Id grab the best price you can find for now.

I agree! I think they are just going to get higher and higher. Some airlines have different prices on different days and even different times of the day.

Keep checking and grab them as soon as you can.

I think they will go up as well :( I'd put my Itinerary on Yapta and have them watch it............along with frequently checking yourself. Also, if you put your purchased flights on Yapta, and they go down, you can get a 'refund' if the carrier you choose does refunds.

It's been running in the $400-500 range for the past couple of years, and I can't imagine that it'd get any cheaper. Honestly, we just book our tix as soon as we know our dates so that we can get the best seats.

I suggest we all just move to Cabo and then we do not have to worry about the plane fares, what do you think?

mijo, that is in my plan but it's about 10 years off, if I moved earlier I'd have to be a timeshare shark....and I am not sure my wife could live with me if I did that...so hopefully if all goes well retirement in 10 or so years

As a shark you should be able to talk her into it now, plus give her a blanket and $300 in cash. You made need to hone your shark skills.

yeah maybe, I guess to be honest it would also be a problem with living with the guy in the mirror every morning. I know I could do it, and probably make a living at it...but maybe a more honorable profession?? male escort?? now I am really dreaming...lol
