TSA's new USA carry on restrictions...

Here is the link on the latest that will be allowed for carry-on bags...read it carefully. It is for airplanes leaving FROM THE USA...as well as your return FROM MEXICO back to the USA. TravelJudy

Yes, Judy, it is the law, and not a mere "regulation" as some ill-informed nit-pickers would have us believe. Check the Congressional Record! Google "TSA" and "airline security", or any reasonable semblance of that term, and the bona fides of TSA will be readily apparent.

When Congress created the TSA, the agency having authority over all homeland security issues involving (among other things) international flights originating or ending in the United States, Congress gave the TSA the authority to establish laws for the protection of American travelers. TSA's edicts have the full force of law, notwithstanding the "expert commentary" to the contrary from "peddler665," the self-annointed pre-eminent expert from Oakland on all things having to do with Mexican busses.

Incidentally, Mexican busses are NOT subject to the body of law developed by our Congress and TSA. You can put whatever you want in your carry-on bag on a Mexican bus, without penalty.
