Homemade tequila?

We are taking our first trip to Ixtapa on Tuesday and wondered if anyone knew of places/people who sell some homemade tequila? We stumbled upon a fantastic one in Mazatlan last year that was so smooth and are almost out so hoped that we may have some luck in Ixtapa.... Thanks for any help!

On La Ropa beach there is an old guy wandering around referred to as Senor Gunnysack.

In that sac is what your looking for.

The only real Tequila comes from the State of Jalisco and it is the only location licenced to distill agave for Tequila.

Anything else is moonshine and be very careful it can do serious damage such as blindness which was mentioned in anothter post.

I am sure your health insurance would not cover your choice of beverages.
