A private tour could be quite expensive! We use Pegaso and it is an all day event and we book with JD Tours web site is bestofbucerias.ca and our cost per adult is $75 per person and then there is a charge for visiting the park. You will be on a sailboat and it is a very relaxing day. Plus the most people on the boat is 30 compared to other tours where there is over 50 people. Check out the web site.

When we just did this tour we paid $15 lower than others on the same trip by using JD Tours. Also do look at Scott's Tours they are also based in Bucerias and for all the years we have booked excursions these companies have saved us money than what we could get if we booked at the resort.

We love Tranquilo Surf Adventures, especially our guide Susanna. You meet them in Punta Mita and have a private boat to yourself. We paid $300 total for five of us but the boat would have held more. This included snacks, snorkel equipment, driver and Susanna. We have gone twice with her and love it. Well worth it.

We just went a few weeks ago, used Vallarta Adventures. Thought we would be able to see the hidden beach, but did not. We were the first boat out there for snorkeling, which was ok. It was a huge boat with about 120 people on it. We used my credit card points for the trip, but I believe the cost was about $75pp, included pastries/fruit/coffee at the office/waiting area, lunch (sandwich makings, salad, etc) and drinks including beer, rum punch and margaritas. It was approximately 5 hours of boat time. Left at 8am and we were back around 2pm. Leaves from the Nuevo marina. Crew was excellent and very entertaining, but I would not take that tour again. Disappointed not to see the hidden beach, although we saw a whale breach and a huge pod of dolphins. If there is a tour that actually takes you to the hidden beach, or allows you to swim in, I would love to know and do that next time.

The hidden Beach is currently closed for visits. When we did our tour out to Marietas this year they snorkeled but then went to another beach. Very nice day!

We have awesome pictures of all the birds on the Island and saw whales and a lot of dolphins too!
