Dreams VM Pools

Hi I am thinking about booking the Dreams VM for a 1 week family holiday. We have a 1.5 year old and was wondering about the pools on the resort. Are any of the pools shallow or toddler appropriate? Any advise for taking a toddler to the resort? Is the 1 towel per person with a towel card heavily enforced? Thanks for any advice!

Maximum depth is 4 feet. The middle pool is a zero depth where you wade into it much like a beach. Water gradually gets to about 3 feet deep. Saw numerous families with toddlers in it on each visit there.

One towel per person but you can exchange for clean ones as much as you need or want.

We traveled to the VM 2 years ago when we had a 1 1/2 year old & 3 year old as well. Unfortunately the "kiddie pool" is only shallow around the edges and gradually gets too deep for your little ones to go in by themselves..we settled in between a bridge over the shallow pool in about a 5 ft across, 1 1/2 foot max deep area where the kids played in the waterfall from the up above pool. Probably not the picture perfect pool experience looking to other guests without kids but other families that walked by often commented on our great spot!We would grab some beers, pull over a chair, turn on the ipod and sit in the water w/the kids while they played without the risk of drowning= a great time for the parents and kids. Been to many resorts, unfortunately most advertised kiddie pools are really not safe and IMO

Funny that you mentioned the little pool and the waterfall. Our group of 6 ended up sitting there one afternoon. My 2 sons and their wives (ranging from 32 to 40) loved the waterfall. They would all take turns sitting under it. I have some great pics of my big kids acting like little kids. A real fun afternoon.

3 pools and two are heated if that helps.

Yep! Its a great spot!! Sitting in the shallow water there was like our own sundeck minus the terribly uncomfortable built in cement chairs you can only sit on for awhile in one position...we took turns getting beers(for ourselves) & o.j. w/ cherries( for kids) while they played in the waterfall w/their beach toys! Glad you and your "big little" ones enjoyed it as much as we did!!
