Paradise Village with kids 9 and 7 Jan 2015

Searching for a good family resort with heated pool in Nuevo or Puerto Vallarta with kids stay at a reduced or free rate. Considering Paradise Village. Does Paradise Village have nightly family entertainment shows? Do you have to pay for the kids club if you go all inclusive? Do you have to sign for your meals and snacks if you go all inclusive? Can you find a beach lounger in January by the pool or on the beach?

Awesome resort for kids. Both pools are heated and have great water slides. Beautiful beach and the ocean here us better here than anywhere in nuevo or PV - shallow for a long ways out.

Apparently you do need to sign for everything when doing AI. Main complaint seems to be that you have to wait around for the bill. Pretty sure that ghe nightly theme dinners and shows are included with the AI. Not sure because we don'tdo AI when staying here.

Highly recommend the resort. Sorry for the spelling but rssponded via phone.

Thanks for your comments. I read there were two pools but only saw one in pictures. So there is nightly shows that are family oriented? Does anyone know if kids club is free with all inclusive and how the food was?

We have stayed there twice in very early January with our two kids. On Saturday nights is a kids Pinata party, which is fun. Wednesday's is a Western night and is fun for kids. And the Fiesta, I'm thinking is Monday nights, and good for kids. But that is it. The one pool has two very fast crocodile slides which is fun. The other pool is the quiet pool. They do have activities around the pool which are child friendly. We never used the kids club. And in January 2010 and 2011 the pool was not heated. Tuesday and Thursday's they have a parrot show. And one afternoon the Sea Lion comes in. We have not done AI there, but the food is good. A LOT of Canadians were at this property when we went. The rooms are dated and do not have WiFi, but we could connect in the lobby. And the mall that is next door does have Subway, McDonald's and a Domino's Pizza along with other restaurants on the second floor. You do have to wear bracelets at Paradise and we signed for everything. Most times we would run a tab for the hour. And finding loungers is not an issue. They have so many. The beach has palapa's, but the pool does not have umbrella's. Hope some of this helps

We were there in April 2014. There is now wifi in all of the rooms, unlike last year. As for the kids club, I'm not sure if it's included in the AI.

Thank you for the info. Was there any shade by the pool? So I guess there isn't night shows everynight? Any room or tower suggestions?

No not every night. One side of the pool has palm trees but shade was hard to come by. We now go end of August and have switched to a different hotel due to the lack of umbrellas around the pool
