Banff- Jasper in a few days - What to pack?

We're traveling to Banff and Jasper next week and wondering what type of clothes to pack. We'll be doing some easy hiking with a toddler in tow. Will we need winter coats, hats/gloves or is a spring fleece with long pants adequate?
