Campgrounds for a 40" MH (13' high)

Are there any CGs along the highway between Banff and Jasper that will accommodate our 40' MH that is 13; tall? We don't need any hookups but, of course, electricity, water and a dump station would be nice.

All campgrounds in the national parks are operated by the national parks. There are several campgrounds along the Icefields parkway, but they do not take reservations. We stopped a bit late on our trip and ended up in the overflow lot, which was a bare gravel parking lot with pit toilets, but had the most amazing 360* panoramic view. The stars were just amazing.

I'm pretty sure that at least some of the spaces should be able to accommodate your size of rig, but there are no services, just water and flush toilets. I would go directly to parks Canada for specific information.

Actually, in many cases, it's not even flush toilets, but outhouses. Many of the campgrounds along the Icefields Parkway are recommended for smaller units - 27 feet or less (in length... I don't know about height). There are only a couple of campgrounds in each park that have serviced sites. Here are the links to all the camping info in the parks:

Banff National Park: pc.gc.ca/eng/…camping.aspx

Jasper National Park: pc.gc.ca/eng/…camping.aspx

If you still have questions that are not answered by the information on those pages, I would suggest using the "contact us" link on the parks' websites.
