TFR, a little more info would help. Where are you going to do your white water rafting--in BC or Alberta? And it would help to know where you are planning to spend each night. For example, Day 5 is a little puzzling because on Day 4 you are planning to see Takkakaw Falls, which is in Yoho NP, but Day 5 includes the museum (in Banff townsite) and activities in Yoho again, 60 minutes west of Banff. If you are planning to spend the night of Day 4 in Lake Louise, then the plan for Day 5 makes more sense.

Day 3 sleeping in Field BC, Day 4 still have the place in Field.

Day 5 Banff (but I have a car so I can travel between these places)

How far is Yoho from Banff townsite

Field, BC is in Yoho NP; it's 60 minutes from Field to the Banff townsite. So for Day 5, you will probably explore Yoho some more in the morning (Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge, etc), then drive to Banff in the afternoon to visit the museum.

I'm guessing that your rafting is also in BC?

On day 3 you may have a problem being served lunch at the Chateau LL at 3 AM.

You might also check to see if Moraine LL is still renting canoes out at 5 PM.

Takkakaw Falls is also in Yoho National Park. You are probably going on the whitewater rafting bus from Banff - you won't want to drive on the bus all the way over to BC, go rafting, and then drive back to Banff, and then get in your car to go back to BC to see Takkakaw Falls. Better include it in your Yoho day.

My fault, I should clarify locations

Day 3

7:45am Wake up

9:00am Leave Calgary

11:00am Johnstone Canyon Park

3:00pm Lunch at Chateau Lake Louise

5:00pm Canoeing Lake Moraine

*staying the night in Field, BC

Day 4

9:00am White water rafting *in Kicking Horse (Field BC area)

2:00pm Clean up

4:00pm Takkakaw Falls

5:00pm *going to banff

Day 5

Buffalo Nations Luxton Museum

Yoho National Park

*I'll have the rest of the day, so a 1hr drive won't be so bad I guess and I already have the hotels and car pick up in Banff booked.

OK, but these two days still involve 2 hours of extra driving. If you have to stay in Banff on the night of Day 4, why not visit the many sites around Banff on Day 5 (gondola, hot springs, Lake Minnewanka, Bankhead, etc), instead of turning around and driving back to Field and Yoho, having just left there the day before? Alternatively, if you'd rather sightsee in Yoho, why not change your hotel reservations for the night of Day 4, stay that night in Field, then do your touring around Yoho in the morning of Day 5, and go to Banff in the afternoon to visit the Luxton Museum?

9. Re: Feedback on Itinerary?

My friends are my ride back to Banff and my rental is in Banff.

I'll ask them if they want to tour Yoho before we go back then. That way I dont have to go on Day 5.

Anything else suggested that I should add?
