Yellowhead/Stewart-Cassiar with Kids

We are travelling to the Yukon on the Yellowhead and Stewart-Cassiar highways with three kids and camper in tow. Any suggestions on great campgrounds or points of interest for kids?

Haven't done the Stewart-Cassiar route but if you're returning via the Alaska Highway (Hwy 97), Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park is a must-do. The hot springs are awesome!

If you're not returning via 97, Liard River is about 200 km east of Watson Lake. It's a bit of a long way for a detour but considering the distance you're already traveling, it's something to consider...

Since Jasper is on the Yellowhead highway, it makes sense to visit here. :)

I have seen the "Yellowhead It!" guide in the visitor centre - here is a link to the online edition, which might be helpful. http://www.yellowheadit.com/
