Plan to visit Kelowna for 2 night 3 days. first time visit, due to we don't drive, we will fly from vancouver to Kelowna,

1) is there public trans portion from Kelowna airport to downtown hotel ?

2) where you would suggest us to stay ? budget around 100 or cheaper ? but location is key due to we don't have a car

3) wine tasting, dining is our favour. where you would suggest for wine tasting and restaurants?

4) what else to do ?

Check these two websites for shuttle service for your needs.

We've stayed at the Kelowna Motor Inn and the Comfort Inn - both on the corner of Harvey and Gordon. It's a few blocks walk to town, but if you like walking, they are reasonable price and there is a good breakfast restaurant handy.

We found a nice little restaurant kind of behind the Police Station recently where we could sit outside. Can't for the life of me remember the name unfortunately, but I think it was off Ellis St. There are lots of good eating places everywhere - Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Greek, Italian and good old "western".

Check out Travelodge downtown. It is within walking distance to many restaurants and other activities. Try www,castanet.net for events going on in town while you are here. Enjoy your visit.

Yes! Didn't remember the name, but googled it and saw the pictures. Thanks so much CanProf, as we want to go again next time in Kelowna. The food and the service was awesome. We ate outside as it was very warm out.

The Abbott Travelodge is a great place to stay - I have stayed there several times. It's right across from City Park, and a short walk to downtown, lots of dining, the waterfront boardwalk etc. You don't say when you are going to Kelowna, which will make a difference in rates. It is above your budget a bit, but if you can stretch that a bit, and if you can commit to a prepaid, non-refundable booking, it appears they have rooms from approx. $115 - $130 per night (including taxes) for this month or next.
