A January Day in Kelowna

We will be spending Jan. 17 in Kelowna. Since we have nothing on our agenda, I would appreciate your suggestions on some of the sights & attractions around town. A special restaurant or event?

Thank you kindly.

Wineries, eh? Now that's what I'm talkin'! Being from Oregon, I can appreciate wine tasting at a quality winery.

Although wine tasting is certainly subjective, undoubtedly some wineries have garnered a solid reputation. Can someone offer some recommendations in the Kelowna area?

Thank you.

SInce I was born & raised in Michigan's U.P., it was a cultural mix of Canadian & midwestern U.S.. And after all these years, I still talk funny. :-)

You'll definitely want to check out Le Plateau Bistro. Such a quaint, amazing experience. They have just launched new lunch, dinner and wine menus as well. Make sure to tell Chef Katelyn you are from out of town and heard about her place on Trip Advisor. And welcome to Kelowna! :)

Just to let you know that both Quails Gate and Mission Hill are about a 15 minute drive from downtown and about 5 minute drive from each other.
