Claiming tax back when leaving

We're travelling to Canada for 3 weeks from 1st Aug. Does anybody know what tax we can claim back on departure? Is it claimable on certain goods?

Your help will be much appreciated and save us some money!

Thanks

Hi jim2006;

The 5% GST (Goods & Services Tax) rebate program ended April 2007.

For more information and details, see the traveler article “Canada – Taxes” here on TA.
