Electric outlets

Am I correct that Canadian electric outlets are the same as American outlets and that I do not need a special adapter?

Hi FendelV;

American electrical outlets are the same as Canadian...no need for adapters, transformers, etc.

Best Regards

Thanks. Not having to bring a converter is one less piece of electric/electronic stuff to deal with.

Yes the Americans have adapted to use our outlet style so you do not need to worry. I think this is considered the 'North American' standard which also follows through the Caribbean and Mexico.
