Looking for restaurants ideas

We're in Vancouver now and are staying at L'Hermitage. Looking for ideas for restaurants. We like ethnic foods are willing to spend about $100 for 2 without drinks on a dinner. We don't mind taking a taxi for a great meal. Also looking for breakfast and lunch ideas.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Pasific Nortwest. I love Vancouver. My husband I and I go there a lot. I can tell you our fav. Restaurants. Reasonable price with amazing food.

Banana Leaf in English Bay at Denman. You should try their 3 course menu. You have to go there hungry. It's Asian food (Malaysan/Indonesian/Singaporean influense cuise) You will not disapoint.

Both of our fav.

Second fav, is modern Indian food: VJ's in Granville I think. Just chekc it out.

Have wonderful time in Vancouver.

Medina on Beatty St.

For an unbeatable view the Pan Pacific Hotel has several options for dining:

Kirin for dim sum and dinner. There is a restaurant on Kingsway and Rupert called Chili Pepper House serving desi food (Indian style Chinese food.) The food is spicy but you can ask them to cut down the spices.

Also Please Note-$100 won't take you too far in this town but the suggestions I've added will stay under budget including gratuity as long as you don't hit the bottle too hard.

Thanks for all of the ideas. My $100 budget is for food only. Since everyone has different drinking style I think it's easier to identify a restaurant based on food prices only.

Don't overlook the Italian restaurant attached to your hotel.

The hotel's restaurant has been closed since we arrived because of the Victoria Day holiday. Last night we had dinner at Lupo that was really good and tonight we went to Karin which we thought was just ok. The food was really oily but the food tasted fine and the service was good. Considering that there are so many really good restaurants in Vancouver I would go back to Karin.
