Restaurant close to Rogers arena

We are attending the Pink concert on Oct 21st at Rogers arena. We are ladies in our 40's and looking for a restaurant that's within 3 blks, somewhere we can grab drinks and appe's. Not interested in Moxie's, Chambra menu is to fancy for what we are thinking? Cactus club is on Burrard, that's to far, and we don't want a hole in the wall style restaurant. Any suggestions?

You eliminate anything good and provide no hints other than your gender and your age and you want suggestions. Really?

Bao Bei is an easy walk with small plates (may be a bit more than 3 blocks). Otherwise, given what you have suggested, a hot dog at Costco or MacDonald's at International Village. There is also Wild Rice at West Pender and Abbott (?) but again that may be too exotic for you. Small plates and good drinks however.

"Rosie's on Robson ... "

That's our likely venue for lunch or dinner during an upcoming stay in that area of the downtown.

Jimmy's across from the library is surprisingly decent for a generic sports bar. Good appy and drink specials, and I've never had a problem getting a table. Service is usually good too.

Ladies in your 40's...Methinks you should go to the Jon Bon Jovi concert.

There're options like Library Square Public House & Frankie's at Georgian Court Hotel.

Roise's is dreadful-awful almost beyond belief-I'd never recommend it to anyone I'd ever want to speak to again.
