Can I claim tax back for goods purchased at airport

Hi, I think as a tourist we can claim the tax back at the airport when we leave Canada? Is this correct, I have heard that now they are making it quite hard to claim tax back. Does anyone know and where do you claim it back, can we do it before we leave in the city somewhere or does it have to be done at airport. Hope someone can help. Thank you

Sorry, no longer possible. I think it has been at least 10 years since the rebate program ended.

There is a very complicated program for some convention operators..but not for average general tourist. Program ended in 2007
