Where to stay within 2 hours of Victoria airport?

Will be returning from Sunshine Coast likely via Comox and need to drop rental car off at airport in am in August. Any suggestions for scenic affordable ie under $100 (clean - no frills fine), b&b, small inn or ... within 2 hour drive?

Look for motels in Sydney, which is minutes from the airport. Cute town and a nice waterfront.

Sorry - we stay with friends or camp when we go to the island, so I'm not much help with accomodations. But it's a cute little town and is working hard on it's tourism. If you go with the accomodations recommended through the BC Tourism (www.hellobc.ca or com -- not sure which) website, then you can be fairly sure. Just get something closer to the water and away from the highway, which would be very noisy.

If Sidney is where you choose to stay the Cedarwood Inn could work for you for basic accommodation in a good location across the street from the beach
