Duke Point still closed.

For those of you traveling this Easter weekend, please note that Duke Point is still not open. As of today, the ferries are still being rerouted to Departure Bay, in "downtown" Nanaimo. Reservations (assuming you can still get one), are highly recommended. If you can't get one anymore, bring a book or some knitting!

Happy Easter everyone!

1. Re: Duke Point still closed.

BC Ferries has added 10 additional sailings between Horseshoe Bay and Departure Bay for the Easter Weekend.

No additional sailings on the Tsawassen to Duke Point (temporarily Departure Bay) route. Saturday late evening and Sunday early morning sailings are still suspended.

BCF have also posted their historically busy days information on their website to help travellers better plan.

Also of note to travellers this weekend, there will be portable toilets put out on Stewart Avenue for BC Ferry passengers convenience.

The quickest, most up to date information from BC Ferries is on Twitter @BCFerries.

Happy Easter!
