We'll be arriving via seaplane on a Monday morning in June. We would like to pick up a rental car there. Anyone know which, if any, car rental companies have locations at or near the seaplane terminal? Thanks.

Budget and Avis are downtown. Why don't you just google it? That is what I did...

There are about half a dozen with Budget. National. Avis and Practicar being the closest... though Enterprise will pick you up as they say. Hertz and Didi are a little further up. Modo also operates in Victoria among others.

I cannot recommend Avis. We hired a car from them in Victoria for 2 days last month, then when we arrived home we found they had charged my husband's credit card for partial refuelling despite having returned the car with a full tank. We did not have a receipt for the fuel as we paid in cash. However, this would not have been any use as the time for return of the car was given as 18.18 whereas we returned it significantly earlier and a fuel receipt would have shown the fuel as being purchased at about 16.30. We were told by an Avis employee to "put the keys in the box", the same instructions we were given when we picked up the car. A call to Avis customer services resulted in us being effectively told that we are lying and that we should phone Avis in Victoria - this would probably cost more than we were charged for the fuel!
