Coast Hotel

Hi,

2nd time in victoria, picked the coast hotel...looks contemporary and has a nice view...

just wondering how central it is to downtown(nightclubs, resturants (cactus club), and the the general sight seeing

- wax museum, parliament building, etc

It is the least central of the harbour hotels, but it is still within easy walking distance from all the attractions and downtown - or if the weather is bad it is a very short cab ride anywhere. The Coast has a very good restaurant (the Blue Crab) and very close are the Niche and the Superiour Street Cafe - both good but a little pricy.

Youngbuck

Paaber said it well.

You are a short stroll from the parliament buildings maybe 5-10 minutes max.Stayed at the Coast recently, pretty mellow place, certainly not a party hotel, but good views etc.

Cactus Club 15-20 minute walk.

In the inner harbour general area there is lots of pubs, restaurants etc.

They also have a free shuttle service to most areas of downtown, but not sure how late at night it runs.
