this was in the paper this morning..

BRILLIANT idea for visitors with no car

Too bad it's only for the summer. Maybe if it is received well, the dates would be extended

It's a fine idea and the price is right-all they need now is a snappy name.

Thanks flippr and OE. This will be so helpful for visitors riding the ferry over from Tsawwassen as foot passengers. It is a great idea.

ok, finally got a break at work and got a chance to actually read the article. yes, it is indeed a great idea---and very reasonable price! Good job, Vancouver Island :). I'll be there early June but with my own car---can't wait.

It's been a few years since I've been to your wonderful island.

Very nice! It's going to make such a difference to a lot of travellers. July and August from 9 - 6, at first. IMO, they will soon find the one shuttle won't be enough. Great idea. I wonder when it will be added to the Cruise Victoria website? Or ....?

Looks like visitors without a car would still need to find a way to get to downtown Victoria and the harbor area. If I read the story correctly, the shuttle loop is confined to the Saanich area, still about 15 miles north of the city core.

Certainly a good start, though.
