What is the best way to get to Victoria BC? Should I fly into Washington or Vancover?

And then from there what do I do?

The Coho Ferry is about a 2.5 hour drive from SeaTac airport and it will put you into downtown Victoria proper. You can leave your car on the US side or drive on.

You can also take the passenger-only VIctoria Clipper from downtown Seattle (about a half-hour north of SeaTac) or Washington State Ferries (Car is best) from Anacortes (1.5 hours north of SeaTac) to Sidney (half-hour north of Victoria).

You'd have to figure out whether your flight fits with the schedules of the ferries, but it's likely to be less than flying.

Old post. See post 6 which says OP travelled last October.

Yes, but as others have noted, this information may be helpful to future viewers. I am sure your reviews and advice don't have an expiration date of the date of travel...

Fair point, FTG. Posting on old threads is mildly helpful. The thing is the forums are "live" places and travel information can change: flights, ferry departures, road construction issues, even the new Bolt Bus service to Vancouver, and could make a difference for someone reading an old post. On the forums, it is probably more effective to post to current questions by posters with current/future travel needs, which tend to be somewhat individual, in my experience. Reviews on the other hand, are not advice. My own advice, now that you have referred to it, is only as good as the most recent information that I can provide to the OP. Trish couldn't care less what I post at this stage so IMO posting to old threads is a bit of a waste of effort and posting to current threads is not.
