Breakfast places in whistler?

Hi,

I am coming back to Whistler this february and am wondering where the best places for breakfast are? I am probably staying mountainside so short walking distance is best. We were very tempted by Hot buns bakery.

Need your advice.

Thanks.

For the benefit of posters who may post some ideas for you, perhaps you could say what you have already tried in your visits for 6 years running to Whistler.

My personal fav is over in Creekside, so not walking distance, but the Brie French Toast at the Southside diner is fantastic. [Fair disclosure - I know the owner, but its still really good]

Hot buns Bakery is a great little place.

We've only used it after a days skiing for a hot drink and a cake to replenish the energy levels - their offerings are wonderful.

For a full breakfast we've tried various places including Dublinn Gate, Fairmont Chateau but there are loads of places to choose from to be honest.

Here are a couple of other options. All three have their menu's online.

Ciao Thyme Bistro

Crepe Montagne

Ingrids Village Cafe

If you're looking for a breakfast buffet, the Westin, Four Season and Fairmotn have good buffets, but a bit on the pricey side.

Just checking out all your suggestions and they all look very nice. The menus also look very good as well. Dubh linn Gate sounded nice and also blacks restaurant looked good quality as well. Really considering your inputs.

Our faves are:

Southside Diner at Creekside

Beetroot at Whistler Marketplace

Portobello Cafe at Chateau Fairmont

...and if you're into indulgence on a Sunday morning, a breakfast/brunch buffet at the Wildflower at the Chateau Fairmont. I think it's about $20-$25 pp.
