Grown-up Christmas lunch in Whistler

We are a family of 4 from Australia, visiting Whistler at Christmas. We're looking for somewhere special to have lunch - the kids are grown up so we don't need Santa and all his bells and whistles. More important to us is great food, able to cater for 1 vegetarian, lovely surroundings - a view would be great.

Any recommendations appreciated, thanks.

I love the view from the dining room at the Edgewater Lodge. The room is rustic, warm and intimate. It's not in the village, so you'll need to take a taxi there - about a 10 minute transfer.

Or Quattro or Araxi in the Village - no view from either.

I know you're specificially asking for lunch but if you're looking for something different for dinner on a different night, one of my favorites is snowmobiling up to Crystal Hut on Blackcomb Mountain for a fondue dinner and a glass of wine. canadiansnowmobile.com/csa/…snowmobile.html

Hi Marie here at Whistler.com

Another suggestion would be Christine’s in the Rendezvous Lodge on Blackcomb Mountain - amazing views and great food. Make sure you make reservations early! Non skiers can access the restaurant via the Whistler Gondola and Peak 2 Peak (sightseeing lift ticket required).
