With epic levels in January, March will be no issues. Weather will be warm, precipitation or fresh powder will be hit or miss as the winter storms will have passed. I ride it out usually until May, even June on killer seasons.

I went skiing in Whistler at the end of March and didn't have any problems. Sure there was not much snow at the bottom but Whistler is so high that it didn't matter.

The snow will still be there in March, it's the weather that becomes the variable: "In like a lamb, out like a lion..." Anticipate everything from warm spring skiing to full on deep powder days to fog & sleet.

Your dates are still within peak season at Whistler, so be prepared to share the mountains with many, many others and avoid the weekends. By the end of March the numbers start to drop. The season pretty well continues full on through to the end of April, often into May and June at higher elevations, as mentioned above.
