Fundy Trail Parkway

We will be on a fall cruise and are planning to rent a car and drive the Fundy Trail Parkway (on October 12). How much time should we allow with stopping at about 6 of the lookouts? Also, once we reach the end of the Parkway, is there a faster way to get back to St Martin, or do we have to simply take the Parkway back?

Thanks in advance for your help!

1. Re: Fundy Trail Parkway

The Fundy Trail Parkway closes for the season on October 10th. Access to the Fundy Trail Parkway is available through their off-season gate located just outside the main entrance gate for walking, hiking and biking only. The Parkway is closed to vehicle traffic during the off-season.

There will not be any park staff or interpreters and visitors who visit do so entirely at their own risk and under their own responsibility. While visitation is not discouraged in the off-season, visitors need to be aware of the risks. For instance, visitors should not visit alone and may want to have a cell phone with them, should an emergency arise.
