We are lookin to travel in april to Moncton to start trip

Hello does anyone have any suggestions for a trip that as we are planning to arrive in Moncton, New Brusnswick for a week in April? I am looking for some trip planning help as far as restaurants, bed and breakfests to stay at and different types of activities that would be open this time of year. We have only been once out East to Halifax which was two years ago and we loved our trip. Want to try and get the east coast feel and prefer to stay in more local of the beaten path places. Would like to try and visit PEI as well. Thank-you.

Can you schedule your trip for later in the year? Even May would be nicer than April. April can still be very chilly and even snow in the Maritimes. Not sure of what attractions would be open, especially on PEI.

Check with NB tourism at http://www.tourismnewbrunswick.ca/ and PEI tourism at http://www.tourismpei.com/pei-things-to-do for suggestions.

The Saint John City Market http://www.sjcitymarket.ca/ may be of interest to you.

Most attractions do not open until Victoria day or even June 1st. As KC says the weather can still be unpredictable in April. do look at the guides or send for them as they have lots of information.
