Late October for Halifax

Looking at go in Late October. We live in south Florida, so we like cold weather. Enjoy Fall Colors, not sure if the trees will be turned. Looking at 3 or 4 nights. Enjoy shopping, museums, basic local sightseeing and dining.

The leaves generally peak in the second week of October. However it is a nice time to visit. Some places catering to tourists will be closed, but there will be lots to do.

You could focus on Halifax and the south shore, including Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg. With only three or four nights you would be wise to stick to one area. There is good dining there.

Another area of interest could be the Annapolis Valley. It has wineries, shops and restaurants.

Do some research on novascotia.com and come back with some questions.
